Western Positive Psychology Association (WPPA) will host its 4th Annual Conference on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Delving into Evidence-Based Applications in Positive Psychology, the conference will feature presentations, round-tables, and the chance to hear latest findings in the growing field of positive psychology. In keeping with this year's theme, the conference will focus on the following areas:

  • Positive Psychology in Work and Organizations
  • Positive Development across the Lifespan
  • Positive Health, Well-being, and Sports
  • Theory and Methodology in Positive Psychology
  • Positive Personality and Social Psychology
  • Positive Psychology in Diverse Contexts

Conference Venue

This year, our program will be both on-site at Claremont Graduate University and online via interactive live webcast.


For those joining in person, the conference will take place on Claremont Graduate University's campus at the address below.

Parking is free in the parking lots located on College Avenue, 8th Street, Dartmouth Avenue, 9th Street, and between College and Dartmouth avenues on 11th Street. Street parking is also available during the conference. Please see the CGU campus map for details.


For those unable to join in person, the conference will also be available via live webcast conference. Conference links and instructions will be sent to registered online participants by January 24th, 2019.


We invite attendees to submit their abstracts to present at WPPA's 4th Annual Conference. Applicants will be required to submit the following:

  • Title of presentation (about 10-12 words).
  • Author's contact and affiliation.
  • Abstract (150-200 words).
  • Corresponding author (s) name and contact.

Please submit all abstracts here by December 5, 2018. Notifications will be sent via email by December 12, 2018.
