Accordion Widget

Ask for an accordion page. Then use the Source html syntax in the screenshot below to create an accordion display like the example shown below.

Required elements for the widget to work: Start with an enclosing div with id="accordion". Each element of the accordion uses an h3 tag to wrap the heading of each accordion element. The collapsible body of each accordion element must be wrapped in another div. Any html can be included in that body. If, for some reason, you need more than one accordion on the same page, increment the name of the enclosing div element id to id="accordion1" and so on.

Sparingly, add the button class to the "a" tag (for example, the button below): <a class="button" href="http://cgu.edu">Button</a>

Html Bookmarks

Html bookmarks allow hyperlinking to elements within a page (not simply to another page).

First, add an id attribute to the tag, say a heading 2, containing the text to link to (this has to be done using the Source button in the editor):
<h2 id="enrollment">Enrollment</h2>

Second, select the text that will be the hyperlink to the tag with the id (such as an entry in a table of contents at the top of the page):

  • Link to an heading called Enrollment on the same page (simply use # and id name):
    <a href="#enrollment">Enrollment</a>
  • Link to the same heading 2 called Enrollment from another page (use the full url preceding # and id name):
    <a href="https://example.cgu.edu#enrollment"> Enrollment</a>
